Brave Cities Lab | Interactive Workshop

  • Garden Space 205 Northwest 4th Avenue Portland, Oregon, 97209 United States (map)

What if the greatest opportunity to transform a city isn't building bigger churches—but helping ordinary people discover the Kingdom already at work where they live, work, create and serve?

Join author, church planter and Brave Cities founder Hugh Halter for an interactive afternoon exploring what it looks like to live a truly missional life in today's world.

Together we'll imagine how neighborhoods, businesses, churches, nonprofits, artists, entrepreneurs and everyday people can become part of connected Kingdom ecosystems that cultivate the flourishing of an entire city.

Rather than simply listening to a speaker, you'll engage in conversation, reflection and practical exercises that help you discover what God may already be doing in your own neighborhood, workplace or sphere of influence—and how you can join in.

Whether you're planting churches, launching businesses, creating art, leading nonprofits, serving your neighborhood or simply longing to live with greater purpose, this lab will expand your imagination for what a Brave City can become.
