MultiplyPDX: A Night for Multipliers

  • Garden Space 205 Northwest 4th Avenue Portland, OR, 97209 United States (map)

Portland is not an easy place to build anything that multiplies. You feel it every week. Spiritual curiosity… but deep resistance, real need… but low trust in the Church, moments of openness… followed by silence. And if you’re honest, sometimes it feels like you’re experimenting in the dark. But here’s the thing…

We’re not the first city to face this. Cities in the UK have been living in a post-Christian reality for decades. And some leaders there have quietly figured out what actually works.

On Thursday, May 28, we’re bringing one of those leaders to Portland, Nic Harding from
Liverpool, UK. Nic has spent years helping leaders: find clarity in their calling and next steps, build communities that actually multiply, develop city-reaching strategies (not just church growth tactics) and create evangelism and discipleship rhythms that work in skeptical cultures.

This isn’t theory. This is what it looks like to lead where Christianity is no longer assumed—and still see movement.

Why this night matters. Portland is showing signs of spiritual hunger in a new and fresh way. But momentum is fragile. And if we default to models that don’t fit our city, we’ll miss the moment. This is a chance to step back, get perspective, and learn from someone living ahead of us culturally.

Who this is for: Church planters, Microchurch / house church leaders, Discovery Bible Study leaders, Pastors who want to multiply ministry and Anyone serious about multiplying disciples, not just gathering crowds.

Bring your spouse. This calling is shared.

Our time will be personal, interactive, and value-packed
