Join us on Wednesday, April 15th as we hear from John and Nancy Ortberg on “Lessons from a Lifetime in Leadership.” Ministry is sacred work, but it is rarely simple. Over decades of leadership, John Ortberg and Nancy Ortberg have walked with churches through seasons of growth, disruption, clarity, and complexity. Along the way, they have learned what endures — what is worth holding onto when leadership feels weighty and the path forward is not always obvious.
Drawing from a lifetime invested in the local church, they will reflect on the lessons that have clarified their calling, steadied their faith, and shaped how they lead after seasons that tested both. Together, they will name what they have found trustworthy in God, what leadership has required of them, and what they believe matters most for those serving today.
The day will include extended teaching paired with a facilitated Q&A, creating space for honest questions and meaningful dialogue — not only to listen, but to engage the realities many leaders quietly carry.
If you are seeking encouragement, perspective, and wisdom for the road ahead, this will be a day worth setting aside — designed for pastors and ministry leaders who hope to lead with depth, resilience, and faithfulness over the long arc of their calling.
This event is sponsored by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust and co-sponsored by George Fox University.
Tickets are $20 with lunch, or $10 with no lunch. Groups of 10 or more receive a 25% discount, which is automatically applied when they register together.
Note: Registration will close on April 12th or when we reach capacity, whichever comes first. At that time, we will not be able to offer any additional registrations or exceptions.
