On the pages of Exodus, we encounter not just a liberation story, but a story of God's abiding presence. The Israelites discover a God who has heard their cries and promises to be with them. After centuries of building for Pharaoh's aggrandizement, God invites them to build him a home so that he can dwell among them. Because of our faith in Jesus, we join the community gathered around the presence of God, empowered to join his mission.
